Yeah im kinna new to this whole xbox thing and i found this local mod chip store www.kingstonmods.com and got a chip from them. I wasn't able to install the chip at first but after a few hours of help from kingstonmods.com i was able to get this thing up and working. And a week later i bought myself a sweet 120gb 5400rpm hd and had little trouble at the beginning but i gave kingstonmods.com a email and they guided me through how to lock and unlock the hds, backup the old hd (basicly the whole procedure). Man i had sent at least 20+ emails to the guy and got reply for all of them and i think those people helped me over 10hrs to setup the whole thing and they just made a few bucks off me by selling me the chip. WOW what can i say, if they have a donating box i will donate some MOOLA to them. Anwayz.....these guys are great, A++++++++ mod-er.

No complaints whatsoever. I ordered an x2.2 pro and sent in my xbox for installation. It was done well, quickly and with a smile. The owner also took the time to explain how to use the new box. Very satisfied.

It's certainly possible that he emailed his customers and asked that they post replies here and all of them that had purchased from him had not registered here.
Having said that when I look at anyone's feedback I always keep an eye on how many posts the people leaving feedback have and consider it among other things.
Another thing to consider is that the Admins of this site can see the ip address of each person who posts, for example by my post (maybe in the bottom right corner) is my ip address, the same as for the above and if they are all the same ip address or similar I'm sure the Admins would delete them or the entire thread.

Yep, KingstonMods actually did exactly what PM5K said. We emailed all our recent customers and asked them if they could post whatever feedback they had in regards to KingstonMods.
If you feel kinda 'sketchy' still, ask the admins to IP Check if you wish

I received my order 3 days after ordering which is pretty good. Good price. I don't know about their technical support since installation worked perfectly.

I had to write this because of the great service I got.
First after emailing back in forth between myself and their sale department, we setup an appointment to get my Xbox modded. In the process I didn't know if I really need the Xcuter Pro so I asked them. The reply was straightforward, you don't need all the BIOS option unless you're developing something, BUT the parallel port to flash the BIOS is a life saver and by itself justify the 20$CDN difference.
So Thursday around 2:30PM I leave home and head up to Kingston (it a 2 hour ride), Unfortunately like most already know Thursday at around 4:15PM is when we get the biggest blackout in history. So the technician calls me on my cell around 4:30PM to inform me of the situation and that he won't be able to do the installation, but I'm like 10 minutes from the shop, so he offers me to come to the shop and I can pick up a chip to have install in Ottawa. I arrived at the shop to met him, and he shows me the chip (BTW I never saw this much modchip in one place in my life, this isn't a fly by night operation), holy geez these things are really tiny. So he shows me the solder point of a already dissemble Xbox, tell me he uses the alternate d0 point because it is allot safer to do. Anyhow after 20 minutes of discussion we are acting like best pal, talking about the latest game, the blackout ect... Finally he offers me to leave my Xbox and he will ship it out ASAP. Also when he was showing me how to install the chip I mention that this Xbox is primary used by young children (5 and 7). So he offers me at no charge a custom install for the switch and parallel port. So anyway I leave the shop around 6PM and head back to Ottawa pretty pissed about the blackout because the whole point of driving 4 hours was to start installing all the good stuff that night. But I had full thrust that the technician would install it properly and ship it to me a soon as he could. So KingstonMod was able to put a positive spin on a really negative situation.
So the same day I sent my shipping info by e-mail just in case, I get a reply on Friday (probably when they got the power back) with my order number that I can used to track progress on their web site. Sunday I get a e-mail saying my Xbox was moded and tested, and would be ship first thing the next day. Monday I get a e-mail with the Canada Post tracking number and on Tuesday I get my package by Canada Post, the Xbox was very well package with bubble wrap and newspaper, no way this thing was going to be damage during shipping.
So Tuesday I start trying to install the Xcuter2 BIOS, I couldn't get the Thompson disk to read anything I tried all my CDRW (I don't have a DVD burner) not luck. They I decide to flash it using the parallel port, 5 minute later my Xbox is booting with a nice XCUTER2 display underneath the logo. So they were right, that parallel port is a life saver, my advise to anybody who is getting a Xcuter2 chip... GET THE PRO, sooner or later you'll need the parallel port. After that I was able to get everything install easily seems the Thompson drive will only accept ISO burns.
So thanks to KingstonMod I am fully satisfied with your pre-sale, your installation, and customer support. You made my whole experience getting my Xbox moded very easy even with the outside interference (blackout). I already have a couple of friend curious about my Xbox, if they decide to get theirs mod, I will send them to you! shipping that is, not driving

These guys are absolutely fantastic. From contact, to shipping, to recieving my chip took all of 2 business days. Their service was top notch, and they do really seem to care about their customers. I couldn't believe the expediency to which they replied to all my emails!
There is no question that they will be the place to which I'll be refering my friends to get their chips from now on. Keep up the good work guys.

Sorry for the delay in online tracking numbers being updated - due to the long weekend and all the orders, our shipping department was out of the office all day and only came back recently.
All orders and tracking numbers have been updated!

These guys are fantastic. After having a hell of a time with modchip.ca (these guys were so rude in their emails...never again), I was astounded that the guys at kingstonmodchip were so responsive, polite, and helpful. I highly recommend these guys - as the previous posts say, no email went unanswered, and I always got a reply back the same day.
Kingston Mods rocks in the customer service department.

Ok, these guys kick ass. Cheapest modchip I could find in Canada for x2.2 pro (70 with shipping). The local place wanted 75 and that didn't include shipping to elsewhere.
I ordered late afternoon on friday, and didn't expect them to ship till monday (exactly what happened). They did however tell me that they processed my order, and gave me a number to put into their website to get the tracking and everything. Wonderfull system. Made it to Winnipeg today, so shipped monday morning, here first delivery Wednesday, they even shipped expresspost (more expensive than ground).
Arrived in perfect condition in an envelope, in a box, in wrapping. I am going to install it later today, but I am sure it will work.
10/10 and you can be sure when my friends want a modchip, these guys are gonna be my first choice.

Just ordered from them yesterday. Send in a money order and I just recieved my confirmation E-mail with a tracking number already!
All I can say is I got a TON of help and my questions were always answered very fast. I would HIGHLY recommend doing business with Kingston mods!
[EDIT]
I recieved the Mod Chip 2 days ago and I have only great things to say about Kingston Mods. I only paid $1.00 (cdn) for S&H (I cheaped out and got the 5 - 10 day shipping) and in the end they sent it express to me!
Trackings number was given and worked, express shipping, great help through every step of ordering one from them, and the added fact that the chip worked perfectly all go together nicely. If you are looking for a place to buy a modchip from, this is it!
i got an xecutor 2.2 pro..... fried my xbox in the process

Got the chip installed and its working great.

I too have nothing but love for kingston. I've placed one order from them, it was processed and shipped within 24hours, received the same week. I also researched prices from other modchip vendors, and found that kingston doesn't assrape you with shipping charges as most other vendors do.
Buy from these guys if you need a mod.

I'm from Toronto, Canada
All I got to say about these guys is 10/10. The Best Service. Best Customer Care.
Best Support. Lightning Fast Shipping and internal tracking. What else can anyone
ask for. They even responded to my questions on a Saturday. Extrememly helpful
and help you every step of the way. They continue to help me even after I recieved
my item.
I recommend kingstonmods.com to everyone. If you are a noob and you don't know
which company is good, or which website to buy from .. take my advice .. buy from
kingstonmods.. you will be happy you did.
After a horrible experience trying to buy chips from other companies, kingstonmods
made it easy and fun again to mod. If you wanna donate money, be ignored, and wait
centuries to recieve your chip .. go to www.xbox-modchips.com
but if you want a modchip from a reliable source ... go to kingstonmods.com

Thank you kingstonmods, thanks suspek, you guys are the best.

I was truely happy with my experience with kingstonmods. I ordered my chip on a Friday morning, Tuesday was a holiday, so I received my package the next Wednesday.
I had to get a refund from xbox-modchip.com after waiting a month for a chip I never got. Good thing is, mypaysystems.com is a good pay service, they were aware of xbox-modchips.com's reputation and didn't ask any questions, just issued a refund.
I lost about $15 bucks in the process though, because the Canadian dollar increased in value too much!
Kingstonmods.com has the option of paying in Canadian, which is really handy!
