Well, I finally got my Xecutor 2.2Lite replacement from GameSHOPUSA. After paying another $18 CDN for customs and taxes. *sigh. So now, this mod has costed me almost $90 cdn after the return shipping cost and now I got tagged with custom and taxes charges AGAIN! when it should of only costed me $55 cdn.
GameShopUSA, next time you send back a defective replacement, DO NOT PUT A VALUE ON IT, IF YOU DO, MAKE IT VERY SMALL. Because your cross border customers will get dinged again with customs and taxes, you can actually even put defective replacement on the package so that customs will know.
Not to mention when I got my package, it was unsealed and opened.
I hope all you ppl in Canada will learn from this.

We are sorry for the custom fees, we mark everything as a gift and mark everything under $50. Also we gave you $15 for the shipping that we didn't charge you extra. As for it being unsealed and opened, was the envelope open or the X-ecuter 2.2 Lite box? Also the chip you sent back worked which we didn't charge you extra shipping charges.

Which $15 are we talking about? both envelope and Xecutor box was opened. I suspect that US Custom opened this considering there is a Green United States postal Service sticker on the envelope with 'Computer Chip' under description and under value it says $65.00, now I don't know who put this sticker on there, i'm guessing its' the US postal service, if you said this was a gift and under $50, why would they go and do this? and are they allow to put in a "random" value? is there a number i can call to complain about this?
The executor chip i sent back did not work, the new one I got from you worked fine when I plugged it into the same solder cable. Either it was a glitchy chip or i'm hallucinating.

Damen,
The $15 for the extra shipping since the package was so large. Also then customs opened the package up. We do not mark any packages over $50 and definently replacements. You can call your local post office and get the green customs value sheet.
We flashed the chip with the X2 Programmer, probably the chip just had a bad flash through manufacturing.

And I appreciate that "$15" delivery you gave me. All in all, it's not really your fault, I was just very frustrated with the whole thing considering that this is such a small item. I guess I lost the $18 i had to dish out for this duty/taxes thing. Arguing with post offices and customs is like arguing to a retarded cow, you never get anywhere, all this does is just deter international orders from US. I've had overseas orders that were less hassles.

Anyways, the new chip is working great so far and installation was a hassle-free.

Not a bad experience eventhought I have to re-order several times to make it right. These guys are a little bit paranoid about using credit card. Using verisign credit card serice is horrible. The reason I bought from them is X-S discount and US based seller. Your store is in my #3 list and I will buy only if SMT or RMC is outta stock. Thanks.

Hey folks, just want to drop in my 2 cents on this seller.
I ordered and Xecutor 2.2 Lite + from them late Thursday nite
(9/11/03 was probably 1 or 2 in the morning since I got home
late that nite). Didnt see my order get updated on Friday on their
site. I figured it was pretty late for ordering so it might get
processed on Monday. I dropped and email to them anyway just
to find out for sure when it would be processed. Received really
fast emails and was told that there system was running a little
slow and it should be shipped out Saturday and delivered to me
Monday or Tuesday. I appreciated the quick feedback, but
really didnt expect to get anything that fast.
WELL today Monday 9/15/03, what do I find in my mailbox but
my order!! YEEHAW. Sucked I had to wait until after work to
hook it up, but it ran great first time out of the box. Have flashed
two different bioses in the banks and they both work great.
I have nothing but praise for this company after my order. I
am going to mod a few more boxes form my friends and am
definitely going to reccomend this place. I know it was only one
experience and I only ordered one chip, but that was crazy
fast delivery. I gotta give them props and appreciate the quick
responses and fast delivery!

Hello, Can someone from Gameshop tell me what I need to do to replace a faulty Xecutor 2.2 Pro Chip and Switch? I've sent 2 emails over the past weekend. One from the site and one to the email address in my order confirmation and I haven't gotten a reply. I ordered two Xecutor 2.2 pro chips. I installed the first chip without a hitch but the 2nd chip does not boot to the Cromwell bios or ask for a boot disk, it just goes straight to the ms dashboard even after being flashed I don't even get a flashing green/red. When I take the good chip out of my first Xbox and put it into the 2nd one, I'm able to boot to the 4977 bios so I know the soldering job is on point. Also the switch is way to loose with the bad mod chip while the one that works has tension in it when you switch from enable to disable.
Please pm me as soon as you can and let me know what the steps are to get the faulty Xecutor 2.2 Pro replaced.

Ordered a premodded xbox on wednesday 9-11. The website still shows its not shipped. They said it was shipped last Saturday the 13th, but I have not recieved anything yet.

No one has responded to e-mails or IM's since the 19th when i was told that the tracking number would be sent to me. It never was. Please help with this, when your website stated it would be shipped within 24 hours i did not expect it to take 2 weeks or more to get it. I know complecations do happen, but id appreciate and e-mail or Instant Message reply.

I placed an order for two Cosmo RF Light Guns for my PS2 on 8/25 and the order was processed on 8/26. It was shipped on 8/28 with a tracking number. It arrived a few days later on 9/02 (USPS Tracking #0103 8555 7490 1623 4654). Everything is fast and peachy right? Nope. The package came but with the wrong items. Sent e-mails and didn't get any replies and I was searching for info on this shop when I came across this fourm. So i found out that I can reach them via AIM. E-mails were replied but not until at least 48 hours and AIM at usually within a couple of hours during business hours (EST). They eventually acknowledged my problem almost a week later and told me that they would ship out the guns on 9/8 and told me to ship the wrong items back to them. I asked them if they had a tracking number for me this time but didn't get the eply until about the 11th. And the reply was that it was shipped ground with no tracking number. I haven't ship out the wireless controllers (the items that came) yet because I wanted to get the guns first. So it's been more than 2 full weeks since they supposedly shipped out my guns and almost an entire month since my original date of purchase. I can't even use the controllers they sent me because it has UK AC-DC adaptors. Bad experience up to this point. They are nice but if they screwed up your order, you are in for a long ride.......

I love the fact that I chose to order according to the MOSTLY positive experiences here on this forum.
I placed my order on the 17th of September and after some time had past I sent an IM to them about my order.
Apparently it was shipped two days after my order was placed. Well the post office is usually pretty good at sending mail or packages nationwide in about 2 to 3 days. Well it has been almost 5 post office working day since my order was shipped.
With no responses to e-mails and maybe another IM message to them I could get some answers. I am definitly NOT going to order from this site again.
Here is some suggestions to the owner of this site:
1. Respond to e-mails about orders already placed and money already in your hand.
2. Give a tracking number with e-mail receipt.
3. I think mainly just ship the order shortly after you have recieved the money.

I've had some of the same problems you are having, here is an email I sent to the owner of GameShopUSA:
"I placed an order for ten Smartjoy-X adapters on 09/16/03 and was told my order shipped on 09/19/03. Based on my previous experience with you the items were shipped via USPS Priority (Flat Rate Envelope) which takes between two and three days. Not considering the day it was shipped (Friday) it has now been four days. I originally told my customers the adapters would arrive on 09/22/03 because when I originally placed my order there was no indication that the items weren’t in stock.
I need to get these items in stock as soon as possible so we need to work something out, either a second shipment shipped via overnight (I’ll still pay you when/if the original order arrives), an immediate refund (Again I’ll still pay you when/if the order arrives) or more information you may have as to why my order has not arrived in a timely manner.

I'm very disappointed with the service I've recevied from GameShopUSA and what makes it worse is that this is not the first time I've had trouble with him, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and additional chances because he has very reasonable prices on certain items I stock.
The biggest problem is that he can't keep accurate stock of his items, and being a reseller when my order goes through I expect the items are in stock and will arrive in a reasonable ammount of time, but they were not in stock and I had to wait until Friday for them to ship, and on top of that they still have not arrived.
This really puts me in a bad position with my customers and I strive to provide superior customer service, but I need suppliers that strive for the same to be sucessful.

PM5K: We acknowledged you the same day that we did not have enough adapters to fulfill your bulk. Your adapters were sent on Friday as promised. I also offered to provide you a refund the same day, our stock is mixed up with our manual PayPal orders and out site orders the stock is hard to keep track. We also gave you an 'extra' adapter because of the mix-up which was a bonus. Maybe you haven't received it because shipping over the weekend may take an extra day.

I didn't make any mistakes on shipping labels. I beleive it was you that made the mistake. Nonetheless, GameShopUSA finally give some reasonable customer service (perhaps after seeing my post?) And told me that they will ship out my light guns again wiht Priority Mail with a tracking number which they have given to me already. I will post again when I recieve the shipment. They are not that bad. If they work on the customer support, they still got some pretty good prices.

Ok they need to get there story right.
I sent an IM message through this forum and he said the my order placed the 17th of sept(wed) was sent the 19th(friday).
No package or tracking number.
So I e-mail through the web site e-mail, with another inquiry and possibly a tracking number. No response.
I post a message here and he replies here with "low-fat-al: What is your order #? We respond to emails in a timely fashion, we will get this situated as soon as possible."
So I send a IM to him with all the info and no response yet, right?
And I check my regular e-mail and there is a response to first e-mail to the site.
Well according to this e-mail my package was sent on the "17th-18th USPS priority mail... the post office is out of our hands..."
Well a concrete answer is not out your hands.
I am confused if my package was sent 17th, 18th , or 19th.
And with no way to track with USPS info I have no idea when or where my package is are is going to be anytime.
This reminds me of a true story about something that happened a couple of months ago.
I had this date lined up with this very lovely girl. I bought two tickets to see Dane Cook, one of my favorite comics, and she canceled the day before becuase she couldn't find a baby sitter. Well I ended up going with a gay friend of mine. I took him to a funny bar and he wanted me to go to one his "funny" bars after the show. I didn't though... story of my life.

I have shipped hundreds of packages via USPS Priority and have never had them slowed down by shipping over the weekend. Packages take two to three days regardless and it's already been four days, that doesn't even include the day it was shipped because I don't know what time of day it was shipped.
I will contact you tomorrow as soon as the mail comes if they are not in the mail tomorrow. If they are not in the mail I will need you to send them via an overnight service, I don't want you to try to schedule for overnight delivery, I want you to have them sent via overnight. If you cannot do that then I expect an immediate refund, otherwise I’ll contact my credit card company to take care of the matter.

So has anyone who place an order last week received their shipment?
I placed an order last Wednesday the 17th and it was shipped the 18th of September 2003. Its Thursday the 25th of September and I still haven't received my chip.
As a side note, I ordered another chip from a different site on Friday the 19th of September and received it Monday the 22nd of September.

I finally did get my order today. It seems odd but there is a seperate label on my package that has no price on it and it's dated 09/23/03.

I ordered my X-ecuter 2.2 Lite Plus [+] sunday nite .. shipped the next day, and still nothing. The last update according to USPS is that it was scanned on 9/22, and nothing after that. So much for quick delivery in the same state.
GSU ---> might be time to look into providing FedEX or UPS service.

Well, I did use the USPS web site to track the number that I did recieve and it just says
"The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on September 22, 2003 to expect your package for mailing. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."
It has been saying that since I recieved the number and I have checked everyday. I placed the order the 17th, and according to the two different methods I have actually recieved corresondence from GAMESHOPUSA it has been shipped anywhere from the 17th through the 19th. Not a very specific date was given when it was shipped. They have not responded to current messages sent at all.
The funny thing is I just checked my credit card info and the charges are just NOW pending. I don't believe they were shipped at all.

Also the postage is out of our hands, they are dropped in dropboxes but they make the dropbox cut-off time so that shouldn't be a problem.

I called my credit card to confirm this.
If you charged 24hrs before it was shipped then WHY did you tell me it was shipped on the 17th - 19th.
NOT specific on shipping date.
The tracking number does no good as I stated before.
With this qoute everytime I check it:

Great, speedy, excellently priced service. Placed my order on Tuesday(23rd) and recieved it today(26th), from NJ to UT. Now I consider that type of experience to be outstanding in and of itself, but the price itself was also unbelievably cheap. Almost too good to be true, but it's the real deal; I'm definetly taking any future business I have directly to them.

Edit: BTW, Low-Fat-Al, that's a continuous message. That won't update until it's actually delivered. Don't ask why that's just how USPS does their "tracking". It's bunk, I agree. You gain no information whatsoever from checking that page, because by the time it's delivered and the page is updated to "delivered" you already know it's delivered, otherwise it wouldn't have been delivered. It's the result of doing it online, I guess. If you drop it off at a Post Office at the very least it says "Package recieved on this date, at this location" but when you do it online it just says electronically notified. Anyways, it's not his fault in this case, that's just lousy USPS service.

my experience so far...
Ordered Monday and never heard anything about it being shipped, so I emailed them Thursday. They claimed they had sent an email on Tuesday (which I never received) asking to verify my CC exp date. I replied to verify the date, and their response Friday night was that it would be shipped out today.
I'm usually willing to give vendors the benefit of the doubt on minor problems like a CC exp date, but it looks like a number of people are having problems getting their orders in a timely manner. I hope my order actually was shipped out today and I'll get it next week...I'll post what happens.
Edit: Received chip on October 2nd.
