Figured i should break the ice on this ... i bought my chips from gameshopusa and i received my modchips in two business days ... ordered them on friday and got them on monday ... and i got a confirmation emai within 2 minutes .. they were also shipped out the day i ordered them (friday) .. the chips were neatly packed and bubblewrapped .. and they are one of the cheapest sites out there ... 35.99 for the x2.2 lite .... btw i think they are still offereing a $5off coupon for all xboxscene members since they just opened ... i recommend you peepz to check this site out ..

So far so great,
I ordered from them late last night 7/22 and recieved an update at 8:22 on 7/23.
These guys are fast, in the update it said that my order has been shipped.
I will keep yall posted, but I think all will go well.

I was on this site and was about to put in my order but noticed that when I reached the checkout section of this site to enter my credit card information, the form was not secured. I'm a little reluctant to put in my order now because of this.
Also, is the $5 coupon still in affect at this time?
If any of the sales reps from gameshopusa.com sees this, please reply or pm me. I would really like to order some products off you. Is there a way to put in my order by telephone?
Also, I noticed that there is a flat rate for the delivery, does this apply for Canadian orders too? Please advise.

We just confirmed our SSL certificate yesterday morning, our designers should have SSL up by tonight but yes we can place an order on the phone. Also yes flat rate delivery if for anywhere in the world, $5.00. The coupon will stay valid, our 'Specials' on the site will expire, the Lite 2.2 will be $38.00, Pro 2.2 will $51.99.

hmm...SSL on Gameshopusa.com is still not working correctly, I'm starting to think it's me but I've tried ordering with 2 other browsers and the SSL is not activated during checkout. If one of the guys at gameshop can pm me the number to call them or call me, I would really appreciate it. I would like to order a bunch of stuff from you. I placed an order with gameshopusa and so far so good. I had a problem with my CC info that I gave them, but I received a quick email from them so I could correct the problem, and the package was still shipped out in a timely fashion. I have my tracking number and anxiously await my chip's arrival. Great service so far.

I made a mistake though, i accidently placed an order for three executer 2.2pro i only wanted two. Sent them a mail about it and i hope they can change the order and refund some of the money.
I´m not really worried after reading these posts.

Ordered on 08-03-03. Will update when chip arrives. The orderform was a bit confusing as there are two places it asks for your cc #. After skimming this thread it looks like there are two forms which correspond to two POS providers?

fearyaks: There are 2 credit card forms, one is via VeriSign but some people were having trouble so we added just Credit Card.
'Credit Card via VeriSign' option automatically processes your card and several people were getting declined even though all their information was right.
'Credit card' option we manually charge and your card isn't charged before the item ships. If your card is declined or address/zip does not match the billing we usually email the customer the same day and void the transaction till customer provides correct information.

I ordered on Saturday (X2.2 Lite - 35.99 shipped) - got my confirmation by e-mail. I was impressed to get an update on Sunday with the shipping info.
Just for the record, I saw a few guys say they wished GameshopUSA accepted PayPal. I used my PayPal account; in fact, you can shop anywhere on line with your PayPal account. When you login to PayPal follow the SHOP then SHOP ANYWHERE link and it gives you a virtual debit card with all the details you need to spend your PayPal funds anywhere that accepts MasterCard.
I'll post again after I get my chip and everything going.

Can someone from Gameshop USA please advise my steps for exchanging a defective Xecutor 2.2 Lite mod. I've contacted you guys by email and did not receive any response. I bought 3 Xecutor 2.2 Lite mods from you guys and one of them either does not have the Cromwell on it or it's pooched. Here's the problem, I've installed the other 2 with no problems at all, they are working just fine however, the 3rd one is giving me grief, after installation, I proceeded to flashing the Cromwell with X2 4977, but when I turn the xbox on, i do not get the Cromwell "please insert disk..." screen. There is nothing at all, just the 3 consecutive boots, then the flashing green/red light. I thought perhaps it might have been a soldering connection so I used a working mod from one of the other Xecutor 2.2 lite machine and it worked fine so it's not a soldering issue.
I would like to exchange this mod for another one please. Please PM me on the procedure I need to take in doing so. Thank you.

Ok...we are now in the second day. I've sent numerous emails to GameShopUsa and have called them 4 times and left a message, not to mention this post. I have yet to hear from them. I had very good service with GameShopUSA when I purchased several items but hope that this same service continues when one has problems or defective product.
If you guys are still recoping from the blackout and can't get to me that's excusable but if I'm being ignored, I will not be too happy. I would hate to be the first to post a negative thread against you guys. Please PM me or contact me via tel.

New chip ordered today (Wensday) hopefully I get Friday. Told at worst Sat. Will keep yall posted.
X ecutor 2.2 lite pro came saturday. Nice job guys. Went in pretty smooth. At first had a little difficulty didnt know how sensitive it actually was but lined it up and perfect. Nice timing on the shipping. Nice to have questions answered to find out which is/was the best chip at the time for me. Jus all around nice experience. Would recommend to order from this company anytime! Class act.
Thanx, Guys friends coming this week to check it out may have a few more orders for yall if they are interested.

One other thing, jus so you know, tip for anyone getting the xecutor 2.2 pro lite. On programming it, When attempting the way everyone says online please disregard step one go to step 2. step 1 is bogus was there hours and didnt do a dang thing lmao. Little tip from yours truly from experience

I ordered two Executor 2.2 Pro and three Controllers tuesday 5/8. It was sent friday 8/8. I´m still waiting for the package to show up..... But it has to go all the way to Sweden so maybe it will take a few more days.
edit. Received the package friday te 22nd. All was there and the customs never touched it:).

Am wondering if anyone has ordered the Chameleon chip from GameShop?
If so, did it include the pin header?
I asked in my order if it did and their response was it did not include the pin header.
They might of thought that I was asking if it included the solderless adapter (which I did not want or order).
Also, I know with Easybuy2000, they say that all Chameleons ordered will be the 1.3 version. Is this the same with Gameshop? You never know if folks have left over stock from the first version of the Chameleon.
By the way...GameShop is the cheapest for Chameleon's...and when you include the $5 off coupon, no one comes close...That is (and I hope) it includes the pin header and its the 1.3 version of the Chameleon.

The pin header is not included, I don't think easybuy includes them either. Also this is the latest Chameleon compatible with the v1.3, you will see it says 'V1.3' on the pcb board. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask by PM, AIM, EMAIL.

Just received the Chameleon from you guys today.
And yes - it does include the pin header.
The thing is - unlike the Executer chip in which the pin header is included seperately - the Chameleon had it inserted.
You just remove it and solder it into the MB.
By the way - thank you very much for the speedy delivery. Placed the order last Friday and received it today. Probably would of received it yesterday if it were not for Labour Day.

My order shipped quickly, but I had a problem with the chip. I e-mailed and got a reply they would issue me an RMA and exchange it. Luckily a friend of mine is a component level tech and figured what the problem was, and fixed it for me. A very good experience from shipment to support. I can definitely recommend them, and will buy more from them.

Seems like I'm the only one having problems.
I still haven't received my replacement Xecutor 2.2Lite yet, last email from GameShopUSA was that it could of been held up at customs which I highly doubt. My last order was much bigger and arrived faster so there shouldn't be any issues with one small Xecutor 2.2Lite item.
Service was excellent with GameShopUSA when I ordered the product, but I seem to be having problems trying to get a replacement out of them. I sent the defective one in about 2 weeks ago out of my own pocket for shipping and GameShop USA had "promised" me that they had shipped out my replacement asap, that was almost 3 weeks ago. I contacted them and they then tell me that they weren't shipping it out until they receive my defective one, this was not the agreement we had over the phone. I also told them that they could charge it to my credit card if they did not receive the defective one as insurance, because GSU had informed me that they had been sending out replacements and not getting defective ones back.
I'm really quite dissappointed at the result of all this, this is such a small amount of money and matter. GameShopUSA started great with me but I have to say, my attitude towards them is changing rapid in the negative.
GameShopUSA, if I don't receive my Xecutor 2.2 Lite replacment this week, I will call my credit card company and have them reverse charges because technically I did not receive the item I paid for, you will have to deal with them at that level. I think 3 weeks is a bit too much to wait and all I'm getting is excuses and no results.
If you have a problem with this, you can contact me by telephone, I would rather discuss this with you in person. You know the number.

I am sorry for this long delay, we shipped your replacement out the day we said it would ship. Only thing that could hold it up is customs and that is what I think is making your replacement delayed. Also please email us your phone # and a good time to call you. We are very sorry for this and for this hassle, we will vouch you a $5.00 gift voucher.
Also the chip you sent back to us works, we think there was a bad flash but we flashed it with a X2 Programmer and it worked fine.
