i'm thinking of ordering another DVD-R from these guys .. but overseas?

damn its cheap... about $140 US after shipping.. but what about when it reaches to me? in Canada ?? whats the Customs and brokers charges gonna be? man if it ends up to be another $100 U.S for customs and brokers charges i'm better off picking one up localy?

well called my customs office today.. and fedex dont charge broker fee.. i just have to pay tax on top of what the DVD-R 105 comes to when it enters my country! wooohooo..
is this correct?

How can you be getting this drive for $140, especially before shipping? Did you purchase it for £95? If so, this converts to $158.004, before shipping. According to this page, the price is £95 and it is a "June Special Offer."

sorry when i coverted it on this page http://www.xe.com/ucc/ 2 days ago it was 140... and from 158 to 140 its a $18 difference so i dont see what the fuck big difference it is to come at me with that issue.. what i want to know is if i'm gonna get licked $50-$100 customs fee or not.. not some smart ass trying to do a currency conversion for me and give me a website i already seen the £95

Shipping to Canada is £25.00, for a total of £120.00 for the DVD burner and shipping . Your total then comes out to $199.584 when converted to US dollars.

I was just wondering how you were able to get it so cheap so I could save $60 myself. Sorry if I seemed rude.

You could buy from AVLogic where the the same drives are only $158.00 and shipping is much cheaper since they are North American based (only $11.62 to my U.S. location). This would save you $20 and you wouldn't have to worry about overseas shipping.

yup your right... local computer shop here sells it for $248 plus local 15% tax..
I'm just scared shitless about ordering stuff overseas and from the US after i order my Weller M120 solder iron from Cali... it was only $34... but then customs and duty hit me another $31 after tax ... holy shit .. lol

I bought from here and must say they absolutely rock...1day delivery for £4.50!....Just wish i ordered a week later when they went down £10!
