Just wanted to post some positive feedback on Royal Modchips. A+ Seller! I payed $35 via PayPal on Wednesday night, received word I could expect the package the following Wednesday or Thursday, and received it on Monday! I would have posted sooner but I have been having too much fun with my chip. This post is also for my success story at installing a mod chip even though I am a complete newbie. Thanks xbox-scene! This place is a great resource and is very much appreciated.

Royal Modchips A+++ I spoke with them in a email two days ago asking for pricing. He responded the same day. The next day i placed my overnight order for 4 x-ectuer 2.1 lites at about 12:30est. The chips arrived before 2pm the next day. No matter where you order your chips from - THIS IS THE MOST RELIABLE AND HELPFUL (customer service is #1) MODCHIP COMPANY I HAVE EVER ORDERED FROM!

- Just thought i would make a suggestion to the rest of you. I am very wary about ordering online, especially from other countrys, but Royal Modchips has set me straight with that problem. And at $35 a chip, you guys got to be kidding me. Thanks, I will order from you guys again next time i need chips no doubt!

I bought a 2.1 Lite from them, and it came right on time. Not one day late ( but that may be b/c i live in the northern U.S. ). The packaging could of been a little better, but overall i would reccomend royal to anybody.

just received my dozen x2.2 lite chips in the mail today around 12:30 from a order a placed 2 days ago .. arrived in perfect condition.. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

VERY SMART dude, can fix any probs, he also fixed my VERY FUCKED UP BROKEN Xbox, which had a fallen off resistor, 2 broken traces, cut off enigmah modchip (i snipped the wires off in anger), a broken power/eject board, and xbox wouldnt boot and beeping and going insane, and he fixed this. what a GENIUS I LOVE HIM FOR LIFE i owe him with my life and i mean my life and soul he 0WNZ J00 SImPLe as that

I received a x2.2 lite 2 days ago...

tried installing it ... fragged ... thought ok maybe my points are bad ... re did it ... still fragged ... HMM?? ive done this too many times before ... why not working now? took out my mod chip in my other working modded xbox and put the chip it ... it fragged the machine there too, HOT SWAP FLASH?? ok so i put the working mod chip BACK in, booted to evox, took the mod chip out, the new mod chip in, and tried flashing, "UNKNOWN BIOS" ... I then took a mulitmeter to all the switches on the x2.2 lite ext switches and they all checked out fine, and all the points on the lpc check out fine too ... im pretty sure the chip is bad ... i PMed Royal to get the replacement taken care of ... hopefully itll work out okay. Ive purchased from him before and it worked great.

...still nothing...possibly hasnt received my package yet...but still no word from him yet...hope things get better...

I'm living in Vancouver, BC.

I ordered my chip on Wednesday afternoon. I received an email within 3 hours from ordering and included the tracking number. As of yesterday(7th), my chip was the US. So, I should have my chip early next week. Looks good so far. I can't want for the install. Actually, Tester 123 will be doing the install. This is one weekend I could skip!!!!

Made order via paypal late on Friday. I was contacted within 30 minutes letting me know that it was too late to ship today and it would be sent on Monday. I recieved a email first thing Monday morning with the tracking number. I will let you guys know after I recieve it. So far I am completly happy with the service.

that it was sent to me in Ontario ,received it on Friday installed it and had problems with it, email them no reply for about a week so far. Have purchased 5 X2.1 & 2.2 chips from 3 different places this is the first time I had problems with a chip. Oh well at leased I received the chip, once I place an ordered from a seller that just took my money.

I live in NYC, acording to the tracking info my chip has been in the US since 8/7/03 and I still didn't get it. Has anyone else in the NYC area have to wait this long, from what I've been reading it should have come by now. Did custom start keeping them form entering the country, or is USPS just that slow?

Brand new. Yes, it comes with a switch to enable/disable the mod, flash protection switch and a switch to select between bank1/bank2. Thanks

Placed order Thursday. Got tracking number Monday. Received chip by Wednesday. Damn fast service! Small scratches on chip so we'll see how the install goes... Any one have an opinion on whether or not the scratches may affect the chip?

Where are the scratches on? We do not take our chips out of the original wrapping so that would be from Team-X ...shouldn't affect the chip unless the traces are sliced through.

Are any pre modded Xbox units in stock now? How long to ship one to NY?
