As an answer to most of your questions, we should have the 2.3 chips within 1-1.5 weeks. We are however offering the 2.3b PRO upgrade from the 2.3B LITE for PREMODS that people are waiting for, so if you are waiting for a 2.3b lite premod, and want something fast.. you might consider buying the 2.3b PRO upgrade for 15 dollars which would make your console ship within 2-3 days.

We're also going to be offering the xenium premods shortly, and will also offer a XENIUM upgrade from the 2.3B lite premods, for those who want the ozxodus chip (which is in stock and shipping) and not have to wait..

Well, we started processing the preorders for the xenium on Saturday (but our stock arrived way too late for shipping that day). So all the preorders for xenium were shipped yesterday (tuesday) since monday was Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and the post offices were closed.

We just updated it pretty late last night, but the chips did ship yesterday. (only orders that didn't ship where those with the chameleon solderless adapter which were in preorder still).

I haven't made it home to see it in person but according to the USPS tracking system mine was delivered this morning.

I just received my Xenium w/ Chameleon solderless adapter today. The Chameleon adapter came with a wire broken though. The black wire that connects to the D0 wire was broken though so I went to Radio Shack and bought a soldering iron and soldered the wire and so far it works.

I would still recommend buying from Mod Chip Man b/c of the low prices and good service.

Ordered last Thursday, got the chip today and installed it. Not bad for a 3 day weekend I highly recommend them.

Ordered a Xecuter 2.2 Pro 5 days and received a day before xbox-scene announced the defectived Xecuter 2.2 pro modchips. So I had a couple of days of hair pulling before reading the news.

After alerting Modchipman. He took care of me by replacing the defective chip with Xecuter 2.3 pro.

I will do business with him again.

Is anyone else having problems with their premodded ps2 w/dms3v9? In the beginning mine used to boot up 1 out of 4 times, then progressively got worse...today i've tried rebooting 15 times already and it still won't load anything (it freezes after the "Playstation 2" logo). I'm sure its not my discs (only use Ritek G03's and TDK's (G02 i think)), as they work fine in all my friend's ps2's with their cheap "Magic" chips...

I emailed the guys at modchipman and they're telling me its a firmware issue...I personally don't know about this, but what I do know is i'd rather be swapping discs once to get something to load than reboot 15+ times...

Please..... Can you give us anymore information on the X2-2.3 lights. I have a couple of people buging me about there chips. Any information would be great. Thanks

hey civic i work for modchipman.com and the basic rundown is you have to turn your ps2 system on without a game in the system, wait for boot screen then insert disc that is the 100 percent fix right now until dms releases a new firmware they are hopefully working on. We actually have a flyer with the correct boot methods. If you need it i can email it to you. They are going out with all our consoles now.

Well, after dealing with Divieo, I wasn't expecting much out of anybody. I can safely say however that ModChipMan gets it done. All of my questions were answered in a timley manner and my package was shipped only a day after I ordered it. It hasn't come in yet, but otherwise these guys are great. Divineo can go die in a hole somwhere, modchipman all the way.

Ok I went to modchipman trying to purchase a xbit. Well I was using a credit card with no room on it. I tried the same credit card 2 or 3 times not knowing the problem. Then I went and got another credit card with some room and it said like that the order was succesful or something but I dont know which order it is because theres like 3 orders in my account but there all still pending like the 2 are from the credit card that had no room on it. I will still get my xbit right? And the other credit card shouldnt be charged should it?

The only bummer is that their order page uses HTTPS but it not encrypted (no lock in the status bar of the browser). The guys need to work on this !!

I ordered my XBIT on Thurs morning. Checked status the next day and saw was rpocessing, dropped into chat to ask about the order, very helpfull staff told me it was shipping that day (Fri). It landed the next day packed well.

XBIT RULES!! USB flashing has been a savior, when you goof and mess up a flash so the xbox will not even boot, you just reflash and go on your way!! Install was a BREEZE with pogo's and I have already traveled with the box and no issues!!

I am not a hardcore modder by any means so when I went to check out this site I was first taken at how professional it looked. Everything was laid out right in front of my eyes and easy to read. If something was needed it was mentioned at the bottom. Ordering was painless and customer service, well I never expected that for something like a mod chip but it was there. Live chat where I could speak to someone about my order. My order was sent on Saturday, processed on Sunday and shipped today. I should get it in the mail by Friday which is perfect timing since that is when my 80GB drive comes in.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? I'll spare the details, but UPS lost my order, and MCM helped me all the way. No other merchant in this biz even comes close with the customer service. If you need chips, do not waste your time anywhere else.

Bought a X-BIT from modchipman, along with a usb adapter, there was a minor problem where I asked them to ship the two together since the X-BIT was in preorder for a long time and I thought I'd try to save on shipping, other then that, it took a month to get, but what do you want, it was right around Christmas and everyone was sold out of them.

I guess I can't give them an A for being timely, but then again, like I said, everyone was sold out, so just about everyone who bought one when I did waited a while for it. I can say this much, I emailed them twice with questions about this and that, received an answer within 24 hours on both, and I mean actual answers pertaining to the questions I asked. Also I got what I ordered and it worked.
