Damn, I wish I had read this beforehand!

I ordered a Zenium Ice Solderless from them like 10 days ago and I recieved a tracking number that wouldn't work with on USPS.com(they ship through the mail). I tried to e-mail them about it and no reply! I live in michigan and their supposed located is in Ohio so I have no clue why it would take so long to ship. Now I know why! CONSOLE CORNER SUCKS! Damn, all this aggrivation for a freakin chip.

I will make them give me my order

and I know just how to do it!

I wish I would have read this before I ordered from them. Its been 10 days and I have not recieved any tracking info at all or indication that my order (#51481) has been shipped. I am located in lower Michigan and they are supposedly in Ohio so it should not have taken so long. My emails have also not been replied to.... I'll keep you guys posted. If console corner rips me off I'll make sure they regret it....

i don't think console corner is trying to rip anyone off just yet. i believe they've just moved and that's what they're probably still trying to recover from. they forgot my backordered 120GB Maxtor for like 5-6 weeks ... and all i got back in the form of email from them was a form letter. i bashed them a bit in one of my threads, sent them the link ... and whatta ya know! ... they got back to me quick sending me a 160GB Seagate plus a Pellican II Wireless for my trouble.
they slo fo sho ... but they came through in the end for me.
now if you're in a hurry, that's an entirely different matter of sorts

I purchased an Aladdin XT pro from this site. I waited for over a week to get my part. My problem with this iste is..
a.) They reffered me to some guy with a comast email address who was actually shipping this thing to me.
b.) The ass that shippied my chip did not put it in a static bag!!!!
c.) The ass that shipped my chip threw my chip in a large envelope and 5 pieces of packing popcorn - it was literally a bad joke.
d.) I did not get any reply as to what bios my chip came with, still waiting....
e.) The website says "We are working on our new contact emails this week, so the correct question is sent to the correct person. All emails sent to the incorrect address will be ignored, its explained below as to whom you should contact on your order. We apologize for the delays, the new email ticket system will be configured by this weekend." for the past month. So how the hell do I complain to no one???
f.) Now I am forced to buy the programmer for my non-static bag modchip so I can get my 1.6 bios installed.
But at least they are better than gocybershop.com

i ordered from the console corner on monday october 11th. i ordered a red cold cathode fan, a red cold cathode 4 inch tube light(came in a 2pack) and most importantly a red text on black backlight LCD screen for the smartxx mod chip. on thursday the 14th i recieved my package(dc# 03041070000158269020) . when i recieved my package i opened the box and the only things in the box was the cold cathode fan and the red cold cathode 4 inch tube light. no LCD screen which the website says was in stock, also no packaging slip. i then emailed the console corner. here are the complete emails:

the last one i got (the one on top) states that i fax him the packing slip and he would have it resolved today(monday) well as i stated i did not get a packaging slip with my order so i replied to the last email on saturday night telling him that i cannot fax a packing slip as i never recieved one. i got no reply from him today (which is monday the day it was supposed to get "resolved". i paid more for the lcd screen than i did for the fan and cathode tube combined, id just like to get all i paid for. ive ordered from the console corner twice before (one just a week before this order) and both went very smoothly. now this happens.

I ordered a Xenium Solderless Kit, got my order number generated instantly but there was no shipping number. It didn't come after a week. I had paid 22$ US to have it shipped express, but I guess that was wasted. Fired off an email that went unanswered. Fired off another email a couple days later at a different email address (the old one, not the new one listed on their site) and that one was answered fairly quickly saying it appears the order never went through to shipping, but they had it in stock. The same day, the order was shipped and I had a tracking number (albeit not working). Shipping was quick once the order was shipped, but the whole process was painful and rather lenghty. For all those dealing with TCC, you'll probably get your orders, but it might take a while.

i ordered from them and i went to check the tracking status of my order and it was in ohio, now i live in washington, why the hell would my modchip be shipped to ohio?, other than that the only thing wrong with them would be the fact that they use shitty USPS for shipping.

I too was not impressed.
My chip came in a plastic lined (inside) envelope with 3 pieces of packing popcorn.
It was like my chip must have been rolling around the whole trip!
On top of that my chip was not in a static bag!
Nothing pisses me off more than no static bag and bare electronics.
My email inquiry as to why no tracking # was given, was replied to, but......
The website itself has no customer email contact. The site states they are "working on that email address and it will be ready in a week". It has said this for over a month now.
I also never received ny response when I inquired about what bios was put on my chip.
YEAH RIGHT!
Some dude in his garage made this website and is reselling.

please save yourself the hassle and do not order from this websute. when matrix first came out i ordered it from them. did not get it for two months!!! back and forth emails telling me he sent it twice but no tracking#'s or anything. i finally got a refund from the site after i told him i didnt want to deal with him anymore. can you wait two months for a chip??

Console Corner sent me my 2.6 Lite finally after 3+ weeks. First they had sent an incorrect, possible ficticious, tracking number then said the 2.6 were backordered after I asked where it was.
SystemMods got me the same chip in four days. Stay away from ConsoleCorner's shady business practices!

I've had great experiences ordering with the-console-corner. This time I ordered on Wednesday and it shipped Saturday. Faster turn around than system-mods.com. I placed my order with them for an X3 (supposedly "in stock") a week ago and it stilll hasn't shipped. I even chose 2nd day air on my system-mods purchase.. what a waste. Pick these guys over system-mods, any day.
Well, I used to chat with the store owner often a few years ago on IRC. On Oct. 2nd I bought a modchip and pre-ordered Halo 2 from him. The modchip arrived soon after, worked great, I have no complaints with that, but I have yet to receive the Halo 2 order. What's worse is that I've sent several e-mails to him, but I haven't had a responce yet. I'm not telling anyone to use or not to use The Console Corner, I'm just documenting my experience. I don't think he is trying to rip me or anyone off, but the shipping delays and lack of communcation isn't good. I just hope I get a refund or the game (PayPal has offically said I'm on my own =).

Updated Info:
Received ship notice on 11/22 but USPS has no information and reports that they never received package from Console Corner. Will not answer emails / phone messages. Might have to count this one as a loss.
Filed dispute with paypal and complaints with www.BBB.org and state attorney general www.ag.state.oh.us Both were very easy forms to fill out.

October the 1. i ordered two Xenium Ice chips and a smartjoy Frag, and I got billed $130 the same day.
I knew the smartjoy frag wasnt in stock yet, so i waited in patience.
Then the arrival date for the smartjoy got pushed back, so i thought about cancelling the whole order, or maybe just the frag thingie. So i sendt a mail with various questions. I did not get a reply, so i thought i could wait.
The 21 of november, i check the site again. By now the smartjoy should be in stock, but no. As far as i could figure out, they were either sold out, or still in backorder.
I wrote them another mail, asking if i could delete my order since the smartjoy frag was not expected for a nother 2-3 weeks. i did not get a reply. But the next day, I recieved a mail saying "your order has been sendt" ..what the? So they did read my email, but why didnt they send me a reply? Well, anyways, that was almost a month ago now. and i still havent recieved any package. Usually, these orders from the-console-corner take 3-5 days (i live in Norway). So i kinda feel like they fucked me. I've tried calling several times, but i only get their answering-machine. My only hope is that they lable the order as "sendt" just to keep their customers happy. Because its weird how the smartjoy was in backorder, but somehow they "sendt" me a unit the next day. As far as i know, theres a few (2?) months limit on when you can ask for your money back.
Until this order, i've been doing great business with the console corner. but after this, im never ordering stuff from them again. I feel ripped off.

I ordered a pre-moddifed xbox on 12/26/04.
On 12/27/04 their website stated they were closed for the holidays, but answering emails, and will return on 01/03/05.
On 12/29/04 i received a email that my order has been placed.
On 01/03/05 i received a email that stated my order was shipped.
For 2 days i checked www.usps.com to find out when my xbox should arrive. The tracking number came up invalid both times.
I emailed them back on 01/05/05 asking them to confirm the tracking number. I received the following message:
"We are out of the Xbox units & are waiting re-stock. That is your
assigned tracking & you will receive an email again once the unit is
shipped."
Up until that point there was nothing stated on their website or through any of the emails that they were out of stock. Currently i am waiting on a date they expect to receive more stock.
I understand that they can not please everyone, and i placed my order over the holidays, but before my order was placed, and they grabbed my money from PayPal, i should of been informed they were out of stock. When and if i ever receive my xbox i will never deal with this company again.
PS Don't be fooled by some of the positive replies for this company becasue it is members of the company that are leaving them.

Ok... I know that some people have had negative feelings about this shop...
But this is just funny... So you mean that ALL of the people in this thread that had positivt feedback are members of the company?
I just ordered an arcade stick and I hope it will work out fine since most of the people who ordered seems pleased.

Yuo can't be that paranoid that you think that ALL of the positive posts are left by members of the company right?

Especially since most of them are from users with high postcount.

On 01/05/05 I emailed to see when the stock is coming in.
On 01/10/05 i received the following response:
"Yes this week Friday & will ship Saturday."
On 01/15/05 I emailed again to to see if my product shipped.
On 01/16/05 I received the following response:
"The XFPS arrived Saturday & will not ship until Tuesday, no post today."
I didn't order this product, i ordered a pre-mod xbox with the X3.
I emailed back stating what my order should be.

Shipped on 10/27/04 and arrived on 11/01/04. I got a box with a case Xtender kit, a packing slip, no smartjoy frag. The packing slip had a handwritten (in red sharpie) words 'backorder' and the smartjoy frag line item was circled.
Since then I have emailed them 5 different times and left three voice mail messages at their contact number. The last two emails responded to the email address that generated the order/shipment notification AS WELL AS EVERY SINGLE CONTACT ADDRESS on their contact information page.
It has now been almost three months. Paypal did not refund my transaction at all because there was evidence they had shipped me a package (regardless of it's lack of contents).
They have since restocked the smartjoy frag, sold out again, and now say they have stock of the new Farmer XFPS (a similar device) when you click on the smartjoy frag link... but they have neither sent me one, refunded my $34+shipping, nor even bothered to offer any response to any email (or even a PM on this site).
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS THE-CONSOLE-CORNER.COM, they have zero communication. They will take your money, fail to deliver your product, and you will be left holding an empty box. THIS COMPANY IS RUN BY A TROLL. He takes your money no matter what you order and only offers best effort to fill the order holding your money forever. YOU WILL LIKELY NOT RECEIVE YOUR ORDER AND WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.

It has now been 42 days since i have placed my order and i have still not received anything. I gave them one last chance to ship my order by 02/04/05. They stated they were not receiving new xboxes in time to complete my order but would go to Best Buy to buy some more to complete my order. I agreed to this and have been emailing them this week to confirm my order is going out. I sent 3 emails and received nothing. I have now given them until 02/09/05 to respond and show me proof my order has gone out. If i have not received anything by that time Paypal and the Ohio BBB will be contacted. If the total amount of my order is not refunded i will start to contact all customers they deceived and start to create a class action suti against this company.

Did you happen to notice that i used the word SOME, not all positives respones?

UPDATE: It is important that you file a complaint with paypal, even if you are past your 30 day point or if you received something incorrectly. It took several months, but I did receive a full refund from paypal. I also closed my ticket with the BBB.
FOr what it's worth, I originally got an automated response denying my claim, but after an investigator actually got involved down the road they gave me a refund. It's worht a shot!

i've also experienced shitty customer service from them, i ordered a MagicXFPS adapter form them on the 22nd of january. the following day a recieved an email stating it had been shipped and i had a tracking number.

what does that even mean? it is horrible english and punctuation, not very professional if you ask me. i recieved that email on the 26th, and the saturday mentioned would have been the 29th. we exchanged a couple emails with my displeasure with them charging me for something they didn't have (which is illegal). plus sending me fake tracking information. Their response was they were getting their site fixed up or something andt he tracking number was auto generated....i would think that usps would generate the tracking number...not them but anyhow.
here it is, Feb 10th, and i've sent probably an additional 5-6 emails since their last reply and have heard nothing, i have no idea what is the situation with my package. i am very close to just filling a claim through paypal to get my money back and take my business elsewhere.
this guys is a joke, i don't care what anyone else has said, DO NOT ORDER from him. worst experience i've ever had for online shopping.
i give the shop a 0.5/10 simply because they have to be doing something right to be in business for what seems like a while....but they have been horrible with me and have shown zero effort to try and remedy the situation.

Hi!
I ordered from this company in the beginning of november.
I ordered 2x chips, 2x controllers and 2x AV-pack..
I recieved everything except the AV-pack in the beginning of desember.
The invoice said that "Back Order" on the AV-packs, so I contacted them too find out when I would get my items. 4th of january 05 I got a mail back saying that the items where shipped. I also got a tracking number. Unfortunately the package never recieved Norway and I doubt it was sent at all.
Since January I've been trying too reach them through mail and fax, but they do not answer.

Hi I usually dont post but I dont want this to happen to anyone else.
I bought a Pre Modded Xbox (xceuter 3) and the Xtender Mod from them (The-Console-Corner.com) in October 28, 2004 after 4weeks they sent me an email with my tracking number for USPS. It was Christmas so I expected them to be busy.
Funny the tracking number did not work! I emailed them no response i called them the voice mail was full. I Kept emailing them then I finally told them i was going to dispute the charges with VISA, the next day they sent me an email that said there sorry heres your tracking number. This one worked got it the following week December 18, 2004.
When i opened the box it was a REFURBISHED xbox in a box that said "refurbuished xbox " on it and there were no instructions for the Xtender mod! Nowhere did they say it was a refurbished xbox on there site. It had scratches on it and was dusty. I hooked it up and the xbox part worked and there was a lot of saved games whent to turn on the xceuter chip got ORANGE/GREEN Flashing lite
looked it up on the fourms:
"ORANGE/GREEN Flashing:
No AUDIO/VIDEO (A/V) pack.
This may also be down to a solder splash on the board or a damaged track. ORANGE Flashing:

I emailed them that nite and called the next day you guested it it took almost 3 weeks for them to get back with me with a RMA . They said they would look at it but nothing about it been refurbished.Now its January so i fedex the xbox back to them.
Did not here from them in 2 weeks so i emailed them no response kept emailing them and calling NO RESPONSE told them i would complain to VISA then finally they emailed me on March 21, 2005 and said
"The main board is bad & we are checking for a replacement now. We will
email you once repaired, and returned"
Ok something but then April pasted Nothing then I emailed then on May 5, 2005
say "Enough is Enought am I beening frauded? You have had more than a reasonable amount of time. I wont a working premoded xbox or my money back"!
Well they emailed me and said:

I paid for an Xecuter 3, a day later, on June 2, I was told it would ship "in tomorrow's pickup." I waited, and waited for a shipment confirmation, and after 2 days of badgering them with emails (6th and 7th) they sent me tracking number, showing they didn't ship until the 7th.
From this experience, they seem to have unreliable service/support, and no commitment to customers.

I placed an order there before seeing this forum. I ordered a product that was supposedly in stock, but after placing the order, I'm informed its out of stock. So I've been waiting for a refund for 8 days. Three times I have been told, "sorry about the delay, I'll process your refund right now," but my paypal account shows no refund.
I also have a friend who they sent a bad xecuter, and it wouldn't work, even after trying to re-program with the programmer (another $30).
AVOID this store AT ALL COSTS!

This was my first order from this company and I have had terrible results. I ordered a mod chip on Oct. 3rd. I recieved all emails and a tracking number as normal.... except... The product was shipped to some place in Latham, New York and I live in Austin, TX!!!!! I don't even know where Latham, NY is! I checked my information and it was all correct they just messed up.
I emailed them and got a very fast response indicating they they were out of chips and would ship one as soon as they arrived. After that nothing. No replies to any emails.
I will be filing a complaint with the Ohio BBB this week and disputing the charges.
I do not suggest doing business with these people.

Let me start off by saying I have ordered from the-console-corner several times over the past couple of years all resulting in veryfast shippments and no problems UNTIL NOW!
I recently odered something for the Nintendo DS $175.00 dollar value order placed on dec12th 05
they assured me it would ship out the next dat via usps. well two days went by after ordering and I got no confirmations nothing so I emailed them and got no responses nothing at all back from them until dec23rd assuring me it has shipped and is on its way well I didnt get it for xmas and it didnt come after xmas either and they do not respond to any emails at all I sent them so I filed a claim through paypal for non delivery of item now I'm in NJ they are in Ohio this is only a two day delivery time keep in mind I should of had this product back on dec 14th it is now jan second or something I'm filing the paypal claim so low and behold I tied up there account and put a lock on it hehehehe they respond to all emails now wouldn't ya know it two days after the claim was made through paypal I get a package in the mail. someone want there money unlocked. well I open up the package and there is only part of the order in the box and frigging usb cable and a 512 flash card its missing the passke and cart programer the two most important things. I emal them and tell them I'm less than happy and only received half the product ordered what do they say? your order has been shipped and delivered in full and everything is working??????????????????????????????. I have emailed them several times since and do not get any responce at all from them I think they have changed hands or something like I said past experience has been great through them until now.
SO BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! this is still ongoing and there account is locked with paypal right now thank god
hopefully I can get it resolved easily from here on out or at least get my money back.

Order #'s 1885 and 1955, 9/23/05 and 10/5/05 3 120Gb HDD's & 3 X2's. FUCK the console corner!!
I have been waiting almost 4 months for my 3 x2's. The HDD's came within a week. No responses to my 7 emails about the chips. I hope one of the thieves at The-Console-Corner reads this post because it isn't the last you will hear from me! Yes, I will spend thousands of dollars to sue you asses over $120.00 and have your company shut down so you can't screw anyone else. DO NOT order from the console corner. There homepage states that the chips are IN STOCK and will be shipping the 9th of Jan. and you will receive an email with a tracking #. A week later and not a damn thing. I appoligize for my language but this is rediculous. Not a good way to stay in business guys.

I ordered: DuoX 2GS Cromwell Edition #6790 - $18.95,
4" Dual Cold Cathode Lighting with Inverter #6323 - $5.99.
I placed my order on April 11/06, got an email April 12/06 saying it was shipped and had the tracking number.
The tracking number never worked, and I got my package today, April 25/06. Them bums shipped me the wrong item, I got a cold cathode fan. I emailed them a couple hours ago, no responce yet, and phone them 3 times no answer and it never went to a machine even after letting it ring at least 20 times.
This is not the first problem I've had a problem with them, back around mid Novemeber/05 I tryed to order an xecuter 2.6, they emailed saying it was shipped, end of december came and went, still no chip. I emailed them to complain, they told me they would give me points for the money I spent. That was fine, but I noticed the price of the chip went up. I emailed them to say I wanted more points because of that, and they did it. When I went to order the chip again I relezied that I did not get points for the shipping I paid. Sent off 2 emails about that, never got a responce. So thats when I decided to order the DouX because it was way cheaper and I had enough points to get it, the light and pay the shipping with a tracking number.
I have used they guys lots in the past. I've ordered 3 Xecuter 2.6 and 1 Qoob sx, all seperate orders and times, and all shipped fast and I got what I paid for.
The only reason I bought from them now was because I had the points, if they would have refunded my money I would have bought from another site. I recommened staying away from these guys as there service has gone down the toilet.

I too have been scammed by The Console Corner. Order #2240
I made an order using PayPal for an X-Tender v2.0 Case Mod Kit back in January 27, 2006. They gave me the run around with a bunch of emails about delays for this item. I of course believed them and let it ride for a bit. They told me there were delays and my order would arrive soon (I have many, many emails to prove this!). They even said I could have a refund, as soon as I said YES please refund my money, there emails stopped. In hind site, they just prolonged the order so my 45 day guarantee with PayPal would run out. I have written them numerous emails, and they will not return any. I can still go into my account at there site and it still shows my item as QUEUED. But I think 6 months is too long to be queued. This particular item isn’t back ordered with other sites. Even though the order was only $64.95, it pisses me off that they would steel money from us, while our site endorses them with reviews for there products. In case any Console Corner customer service peeps happen to read this, I would love to here from you. I hope who over see this thread will consider all the unhappy members and apply some pressure to The Consol Corner to make good with our orders or refund our money.

Hey guys, just some info for you. I have been pursuing a case against the console corner for 3 orders of mine that were not filled. The owner of this company (steven filipiak), has been sued by SECA (sony) for 6 mil. dollars. Sony won

He has also recently filed bankrupcy yet still continues to do business. He also operates system-mods.com. DO NOT do any business with any of these companies or you will get ripped off. BTW, Mr. Filipiak said that he is not going to pay me the money he owes me or send my products. But hey, being sued by sony for 6 mil in a class action law suit and filing bankruptcy is payment enough for me. Hope thats working out for you Steve
