I bought a premodded Ltd edition green xbox, with xecutor 2 pro, 120 gb HDD upgrade and PSU upgrade - it literally arrived the day after I confirmed my order and paid a very good price via paypal (13 May 2003) and looks to be a very professional job! All software pre-loaded, well packaged for delivery etc.
The guy there was very helpful, answered all my questions patiently, and provided links to walkthroughs in response to some of my techier newbie style requests.
In my experience, a top outfit, and very informative, friendly and professional. Would definitely do business with them again.

I bought a premodded Xbox with Samsung DVD-ROM and 120 gig hardrive (very quiet), preloaded with all the apps etc. Very helpful guy, answered all my questions before purchasing. Received the BOX in perfect condition, brilliantly packaged - ordered Monday, received Wednesday. He even knocked a tenner off the final cost for me!
Wouldn't hesitate in ordering from him again, very very pleased...

Buy from them as you won't be dissapointed. I ordered an executor 2 modded box late last night and collected it in person myself this afternoon. The service I have received is outstanding and I can't thank them enough.
They even took the time to point me in the right direction as to where to goto get help and advice.

Just thought I'd give this site a bump.
Great service, couldn'd ask for anything more.
Responded quickly to all emails I sent and went out of their way to accomodate me. Answered all the questions I had. Even repaid a £15 overpayment I made by accident(couldnt ask for much better than that:)
Great prices and fast shipping. Would recomend to anyone especially if you live in Europe.

I purchased a premodded XBox from there a few days ago. NorthernMonkey was extremely helpful in everyway. I had every E-Mail responded to, some within the hour. Every question I asked was answered very helpfully, which was one of the main reasons I chose to go through the company.
The item was packaged very well, leaving my box in perfect quality. All extras I asked for such as Pads and a modded RGB lead came in the same box, but were packed so that the analogue sticks weren't bent which could cause damage.
The console came with loads of very useful programs, and the website has some very helpful downloads and links for an FAQ.
Thank you very much.
-I totally recommend the service they offer!

Yea, it was down for about a week, up yesterday and now it's down again.
I'm guessing the guy is having some hosting problems or something.
Posting is only £15 next day delivery.. and it will probably cost that much in petrol to drive there and back if you were to use car

I have bought a LE green xecuter 2 pro 120gb premod off them, everything was there and working pre-installed apps/emulators. Extremely good value, great service, recieved quick and without any damage. Their warranty is extremely trustworthy since my xbox didn't like loading the modchips hacked bios after a while, i emailed them and they
payed to have my xbox collected and returned.
Ppl especially in the UK go with them.
I give them 10/10

Has anyone ever tried to unplug a chip this guy has fitted????
I tried to unplug a 2.3pro he had fitted but the header pin plug came away from the chip.
On closer inspection it was obvious he had put superglue on the header pins to stop anyone safely removing the chip but him.
This is an unscrupulous practice & i have emailed him to ask why he does it but i still await a reply!

Premodded.com" <enquiries@premodded.com> wrote: >
quite simpley to hold the bugger in place, to be
honest 99.9% of X2 installs I have used wires for the very reason that with a
Pin Header install there's a chance the chip can slide off if bumped about by
courier in transit, not sure why on that particular one was installed with a
Pin header but because it was that would explain the dab of glue. Now if I
had pulled the header socket off I would try using the chip with the wire
install connection.
So i replied.....
What a naff answer!
There is no danger of a chip sliding off in transit if
fitted correctly! Those pins are always a snug fit and would have to slide quite a way to come off and
possibly travel through the DVD housing.
IF this was the case im sure a length of electrical
tape would be more appropriate than a blob of
superglue as this rendered the header pins unusable.
More chance of d0 coming off than the chip but that
did have Electrical tape over it so you do stock the
stuff!
Slim

EDIT* I note he conveniently changes the word "SUPERglue" to just "GLUE"
He is right about me not actually buying anything from him though, i was just unfortunate to have to clean up his mess behind him.
Please bear in mind this Crystal Xbox was barely 3 months old &
had not been sent by courier.
Perhaps another customer would care to open his xbox at some time and see if it is held in with superglue or normal glue?
As for the sort of person i am, well im not the sort who would perform sly little tricks like using a great big dollop of SUPERGLUE on the modchip of a schoolboys Xbox**

Hi Slimgrip,
As you learn from experience, sending xbox's through the post is fraught with problems, if the xbox gets dropped (I know the post office aren't the most careful handlers in the world) then the mod can come off the pin header.
A small dab of superglue helps to keep the mod in place and is common practice.
I'm sure you would do the same if you sent xbox's through the post, after dealing with the costs of postage both ways for a quick 2 minute fix all your profits would be gone.
Glen.

Jul 3 2004, 04:43 PM
thanks Glen like I told slimgrip I have sent litterally thousands of xbox consoles through the post If anyone is qualified on what can go wrong in transit I guess I am, like I explained to him 99% of X-Ecuter2 installs I used wires (A) because its quicker than taking motherboard out for pin header install and (

its less likely to come loose in transit. I have sent some X2-Ecuter chipped consoles out with PIN Header install and some of these have slipped off in transit hence the dab of glue to ensure it doesnt happen again after all if you ordered a console you wouldnt be happy if it was dead on arrival. In case you are wondering why one in every hundred X2 consoles had a pin header not wires then its probably because I needed to flash some SST flashroms, so I would crack open a new xbox, solder pin header to it and use a cheapmod socket to flash the SST chips, then use the PIN header to mount whatever modchip needed fitting for customer who ordered said xbox.
For the record all Xenium and SmartXX installs use PIN Header install method and I dont use glue I bend half the pins on the header about 2mm away from the other half and then slide on the modchip this ensures they dont slip off, plus these modchips are a lot lighter than the X2's.
And just so you modders know what sort of person Slimgrip is here's some of his email replies :

Slimgrip said :
Ahhh,is that some kind of thinly veiled threat???? no its much easier to post all your email replies in your advert threads on Xbscene, worldxbox, & ebay. Much more effective way to explain good business practice. But thank u for your address im sure trading standards will be happy to visit on my behalf.

What is it exactly you want? or do you just like making a nuisance off yourself perhaps you have nothing better to do?

Your right Just got nothin better to do |
Now if I wasnt paying VAT and income tax, or perhaps if I was doing something illegal I would be worried about Trading Standards but seeing as my business is 100% above board I really dont mind if you call them feel free but my guess is you're not declaring all you should as far as the tax man in concerned.
I would also like to note I have over 600 references on 5 different websites and not one bad remark of a single person other than you, but YOU havent actually bought anything from me have you Slimgrip?

I ordered a LTD edition crystal Xbox with a X-ecuter 2.3b, 120 gig HD and HD activity light from these guys, well my dad did cause i reccomended him to it (cause ma b'day was just around the corner and i just did my exams), because it was the best modded xbox site i could find at the cheapest prices and delivery charges, i was a very happy bunny when it arrived ( in only 48hours for such a big parcel) the box that absoloutly untouched (normally in post it will get bashed, but not here) it was really good pre loaded with the latest evox dashboard with tons of applications emulators skins and everything you need to start hacking the XBOX!
its fantastic!
i HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS SITE!

It's arrived - packaged up like Fort Knox - I'm impressed and I've not even opened the box yet.
Currently sitting on my desk at work and I'm itching to get it home and try it out.
Looks like I can add myself to the list of recomendations and hopefully the site will be back up again soon. Probably be back up by the time this post has been moderated.
