Purchased a Premodded PS2 (yes I realize I should be saying Xbox but well, meh). Their merchant account is not functioning due to technical probs, so he sent COD. Arrived like new! Was not expensive and service was speedy. Replies to emails fast!

I ordered a messiah pro premod ps2 late in the day on tuesday the 13th and i got my station on friday the 16th(Even though i paid a lil extra for 2-3 day shipping $13). everything was in good working order. i found that paying cod was extremely convenient, because you never really know when your ordering products off the internet. i would recommend purchasing a premod from them. the customer service was great. he promptly answered all emails. i look forward to purchasing another premod from them as soon as they have the dms3 modchip in stock.

I ordered a PS2 w/ Messiah2 PRO from premods. They shipped COD and I got it within a few days of ordering. Works great. I plan to order another PS2 (dms3) and Xbox when they get them.

Yeah, recieved Messiah 2 pro chip AND an EnigmahX from them in no less than 4 days!!! Referred them to a friend and they recieved a premod ps2 messiah2 pro system in about the same amount of time! Also, can't beat the prices and quality of the product. I intend on shopping with them again!

I ordered a Premods PS2 w. M2Pro modchip. I ordered Monday late night and it arrived today through Fedex 2 Day Air COD. I plugged it in and none of the ps2 backups worked. I emailed them and asked them to call me. I swear to god it was like 5-10 minutes and my phone rang with a premods guy.

He started diagnosing and trying to resolve this issue immediately. We spent like 15 minutes on the phone until he asked about the type of media, and how I burned my discs. It seems I was burning these discs incorrectly, burning them at 40x - which he recommended me burning at speeds of 4x-8x. As I started a burning process, we started talking and talking until the disc was done burning. I tested the disc and AMAZINGLY my GTA Vice City works. Thanks for ALL your help Premods, I am defin going to refer you guys to all my friends.

These guys are professional grade. They have a nice site, great communication skills, awesome and I mean awesome prices!

Order a premod Xbox late on Thur and got it on monday. The unit worked perfectly. the workmanship on the mod was done very well. Support through email was good as well. I would order from premods again.

These people are great!!!! I got my ps2 back and it has not given me a problem at all. It boots everything great. So far I have not had any games backup or original not load..

So I ordered a premod PS2 from somewhere else because I couldn't wait for the DMS3 v9 to come out, and this other site totally F'd me.
I made them cancel my order, and since I've heard such good things, I decided I had to wait for the v9, and I placed a preorder with Premods. This was the best decision I had made in my mission to get a new PS2.
I got an email with every new development. Thanksgiving weekend. I got an email saying his supplier would get the chips overnight, and in turn overnight them to him... (Following me here? heh) So I assume that he got everything on Monday. I got my PS2 on Wednesday. If I'm ever in the market for a PS2 mod job dealie, I will be going back, and this guy is the only PS2 dealer that will be getting my business. He managed to turn a crap situation (wtih those other guys) into a good one.
Oh, and fair prices and good shipping rates. =)

Well I did finally receive my order which I am very happy with and I have been promised gaming accesories to compensate for the long wait. I would still recomend Premods.com b/c despite their merchant company problems, they pulled through in the end.

Placed an order on 12/18. I didn't hear anything and finally on the 22rd, my CC was charged. On the 23rd the charge was credited back. I now see from their webpage that they have closed their store "temporarily". It's been like 2 weeks now. Not looking good for my order now.

Well, Premods called me after reading my post and offered me the same deal COD. I have gone elsewhere, but it looks like they are trying to correct issues out of their control.

Has anyone heard from premods.com in a while? They were looking at my PS2 since December and I sent them an email recently and I still haven't heard anything back from them. I just wanted to check with someone else. Thanks!

I wouldn't suggest using premods.com .
I traded in a broken PS2 + payed $200 and I got responses from them when I e-mailed. Yet now, I STILL haven't received my product and don't get any response from them. I know there is a supposed "PS2 shortage" but I haven't heard a response to my e-mails in months.

Premods.com stole my money.

Avoid premods they are not trustworthy, they've had my PS2 since June 2004 & then they had legal problems, they said if they couldn't get my system back (was taken as evidence) they would replace it (that was 3 months ago & now they can't take that lost. they sold the company (to a friend ?) about a month ago & is chipdealer.com the new premods? if anyone knows please post

www.pre-mods.com took one month to finally say they finished modding my xbox. after a month of emails and they only responded when i threatened them to take legal action, they said it was shipping and i was to recieve a tracking number. over a week later, emails every day and i even called there house, and no response. fraud, and theft. plain and simple. FRAUD & THEFT.
