i have shopped with them 3 times. all 3 times i got the items within 4 days, confirmation e-mails and prompt e-mail responses.

no problems with them.

Bought an Xecuter2 Pro from them for a client of mine. Fast shipping and very nice people.

I would like to know what is going on with them right now. Their affliate program has been off for nearly a week now. Just wondering if anyone has any information.

They are great, very friendly, EXTREME FAST shipment, and always receive the modchips in mint and good packed conditions. and ofcourse the chips themselves are good!

I ordered one X2 Pro from them. It was shipped and received promptly. It turned out to be defective, and I just junked the chip. I subsequently ordered an Xtreme FCC cable for $17 (highway robbery...I know...) and never received it. I checked the site and my order was...lost, so I never got charged either.

Overall, I'm not entirely impressed with their service, but their stock was pretty consistent.

i've ordered 3 x2lite chips and 1 x2pro chip from extreme-mods.com and great servive everytime, even when backordered. that was several months ago that i ordered from them. so i went to their site today cause i got some more people wanting me to mod their xboxes... and i don't see any chips listed for sale??? all i see is colored skins, fans and crap like that... the closest thing i see to a mod-chip is the x2lite programmer??? are they still selling x2pro chips??? i need to buy 5 or 6 in the next week or so.

I ordered my the friday before they stoped selling their modchips, they shipped it out when they said they were, but one prob they shipped it FedEx Ground and I paid for FedEx overnight!!! It was supposed to be here tomarrow, but will be here this thursday! Overall they are very good just shipped the package wrong. I hope I don't recieve a defective chip!!!

Man this website rocks!!! I purchased an Executer 2 lite from them and they had it to me in four days!!! They are honest in their e-mails and what they have in stock, and have great customer support. If you have a problem with them they will refund you money. They reply in their e-mails extremely fast, they are an Extremely good website. Too bad they decided to stop selling mod chips, I was one of the last people to order from them before they stopped selling them!!!

They had great service now I don't know what's going on. Bought a pro chip couldn't get it to be detected so I switched with another pro chip that I bought from too and that one worked. I told them it was defective and send it back a week ago haven't heard anything from them. I even called them everyday only to get a answering machine. E-mailed them twice still nothing. I even ordered a pogo pin adapter that couldn't be aligned. The pin that goes to the do point was off by a millimeter or two. The only way was to do some grinding in the screw hole of the adapter.

I called Extrememods on thirsday, and the phone was answered

I wrote another e-mail yesterday 5/9/03 and of today 5/10/03 I still haven't heard of anything. All I want is someone from there telling me what's going on. Now I go to the website and they stop selling mod chips. I went with them because they were from Illinois about 2 hrs from me (Chicago) and their fast service. I even called before closing time and I got their aswering machine.

Damn... this was news to me today... I ordered an X2 Pro from them 2 weeks ago, it was backordered which I knew .. but it was shipped last monday, and I had it on Wed., one week ago today.. now I go back to get some more and I see they are gone.. this sucks.. they were the only reliable/honest place I have found on the net.. but I dont fault them for stopping.. I got a feeling the $h!t is going to hit the fan pretty soon with MS vs Modchips..

Good website, they shipped when they said, they just shipped it ups ground when i wanted overnight, but they gave me free shipping because of this mistake. They are a good website to bad they dont have mods anymore.

Before they quit selling modchips, I bought my xecuter2 pro and everything went fine. Fast shipping and good customer service.

I bought my first mod chip from these guys. I received it within a week, and in excellent packaging. I'd buy from them again, but they don't seem to be selling modchips anymore.

Excellent service. Very reliable. I have bought from them three times and all times the items have arrived quickly and in great condition.

Just to let you know we aren't gone completely In fact we are gearing to make a come back but we won't be selling modchips. I may however decide to wholesale some once our defective returns are repaired and sent back to us. If we do we'll keep everyone here updated. We now have our new website design up and we should be able to process orders quickly and efficently. That was our biggest problem before, our website was out of date and required alot of maintenence, which of course added to our overall stress level. At the end we decided to stop because it was getting to be too much, with xbox-scene and techtv sending massive amounts of traffic, and with all the emails, phone calls, defective returns, lost orders, etc it just all added up until we couldn't take it anymore. Plus not to mention the fact that if anything "legal" were to happen we would have been up the creek without a paddle as we had alot of money tied up in rolling reserves with credit cards and paypal Overall tho it was a great experience and we loved working for you all! I cannot stress how valuable xbox-scene was to our success, and for that and many other things i Thank you

PS: The funniest thing is the whole time people thought we were a huge company, when actually we were just a "mom and pop" operation up until the very end. Imagine taking care of 2000+/customers a week with just 2 people doing it all. This is a feat even large scale companies can't seem to manage. Just thought i'd let that cat out of the bag, so if there was ever a time where it took us alittle longer to ship that was why

I ordered my modchip July 3 (Sat). Payment was processed July 5 (Monday) and my chip was sent out the same day. I just checked Fedex and my chip will be here on July 8 so I am happy with their service. The one thing I really like about the site is you can check the status of you order right on their site from when they are processing the payment till when they ship it, so youare never guessing as to when you are gonna get your order. Will definitly use them again.

Id just like to say that the guys at extreme-mods are great, my site needed a chip for an xbox modding article and they were into with no problem...Great people, if ever i need to a buy a modchip they are the people to go to

Well i just ordered a Xenium Ice Solderless from them an recieved an e-mail that the adaptor won't be in untill Wedensday. I just checked their site and you can still ad either the Ice solderless or just the adaptor to your cart.

I'm not complaining because they seem to be great and very quick with responses to questions but you would think they would not let you add things that are out of stock or at least note on the item description that it is out of stock at the moment.

I was really hoping to get it tomorrow but now it looks I'll have to wait 3 or 4 more days.

ordered a smartxx v2 from http://www.extreme-mods.com last friday night. got it today and installed a few hours ago. i emailed them about my order becaus it was going on tuseday and my status was still at prossesing payment. i emailed them about it and they promply responded to tell me that their busness is closed on the weekends and they took MLK J. holiday off. And they included a solderless adapter free!! wich i would never use ,but hey, a free $20 part, you can't beat that.
i think ill trade it for something. but any way, Great service, highly recomended. and they were the only ones to have my chip in stock.

Ordered 3 chips from them....received pretty quiet (2-3day priority).
Will be doing business again....if I can find out why their website isn't working right now?

I ordered my mod chip around 3:00 AM Thursday morning. Went to the mailbox today, not expecting it until Tues (due to 4th of July) and there it was. Fastest shipping I've encountered on the internet. The even beat new egg, who really needs to get my HD here . Anyways, they're awesome, would highly recommend them to anyone.

This site is THE BEST, hands down. If you are skeptical...definatly use this site...they have helped me out in ways I wouldnt expect an E-Dealer to. Very friendly, very fast.

Gotta say this was the fasting shipping and most professionally handle transaction I have had period....coming for a mod chip company its simply amazing.... ordered early tuesday (2am i think) and it arrived on Thursday (today) and chose priority mail option cause it was the cheapest.

I have had an excellant experiance with extreme-mods.com!!! I will order from them again, and anyone I know who wants their box modded will be refered to them as well! I placed my order 12/18, my package shipped 12/19, it had an estimated delivery date of 12/21, and it was even delivered a day early.

This was a great experiance after being ripped off by system-mods!!!

Decided on this store from the reviews here, although there weren't too many. Emailed them Monday morning to verify if they had an item in stock and received a reply within a few hours. So that quick response really clenched the deal.
Ordered late Dec. 19 and it shipped the next day. USPS was a bit slow, but I was in no hurry and it was Christmas week so no surprises there.
Great prices also, definitely would/will order from here again.

Just wanted to leave a quick note....once again ordered from them on Dec 23/05 for a last minute xmas present for my middle daughters xbox (thought she wanted clothes and shoes etc...but wanted her xbox modded instead)

so i scrambled to order her a chip knowing it wouldn't make it in time for xmas, but getting it done before new years for her. Chip was a little slower coming (obviously cause the holidays) only by a day or so. I was surprised the chip made it out before xmas at all !!!! but it did, was mailed the very next day. Actually had the chip before the new hard drive came. This place is now the only place i will do business with in regards to modding period !!!!!!

I knew the chip was mailed because i was sent an email....well two emails...one immediately after ordering and then when it was shipped. It's a nice feeling that when you order a modchip it doesn't feel like a gamble as when ordering from www.system-mods.com (which used to be great and have never been screwed by them, but it's been over a year since using them)

I keep a close eye on webshop rating feedback and reseller ratings posts and these guys are stellar on both accounts. Love the way the chip comes in a plastic case thats easily opened as well. So far I have told a half dozen people about this place (and i don't do this unless i am completely confident of a company)
