I just bought a new version 7 PS2 for the third time . After 2 failed attempts and breaking 2 previous units I decided to have a professional handle it. I got a dms3 mod installed in my PS2 from these guys. they were able to install the chip and get my console back to me in the same week that i sent it off! my ps2 runs great, so i would recommend them to everyone else.

The best possibly priced and best possible service around? I think so! Great customer service, great turnaround time for my ps2. He mailed my ps2 off on monday, and I got my ps2 back friday. Keep in mind, this was DURING thanksgiving week. My ps2 w/ the badass DMS3 is working like never before.

I sent my brand new PS2 V9 to him on Friday before Xmas.
He received it on tuesday afternoon. (Chicago to Charleston )
Via UPS. He modded the PS2 with DMS3-v9 on tuesday night/wednesday morning and the PS2 was on it's way to me the same day!!!!!!!! I got it on Saturday after noon via USPS!!!!!!! This 8 days round trip included the Christmas and New Year holidays.

My PS2 works like a champ and performing axactly the way it is suppose to work with DMS-3 chip inside. Now I can play all my PS2/PS1.........backups with CD-R and DVD copies!!!!(ya right).

I sent in my v9 on a Monday - late Monday via UPS, and Trey got it Wednesday.

I figured, eh, I've read that his turn around is really good, I'll expect it sometime middle next week.

On Thursday, he sends me an email stating that it's on it's way and let him know when I get it!

I wanted a ps2 with a dms3 mod the easiest way. Chipinstalls offered to purchase a new ps2 & dms3, install it, and ship. I got a new v10 via priority mail in a few days.

After 2 broken PS2's i decided to get a pro to chip my 3'rd. Ifter browsing the web I came across this site and found that www.chipistalls.com is a reliable company. After a couple pf emails with questions I found the best price that I could - $60 for intallation. I shipped my PS2 on thurday and I got it back within a week.
Trey got my PS2, chipped it and sent it out all within a day!!! My emails were answered within hours.

Since I live in the South, Chipinstalls is right around my backyard! I sent my PS2 to get modded, they received it the next day and installed the chip and sent back to me the next day! I received my system in just 3 days! I will use them for all my modchip installation needs!

I bought a Xecuter 2.3B Pro and shipped it and a box to these guys. They recvd it on a Friday, Monday being a holiday they shipped back on Tuesday. The chip works great, he even installed an extra fan for the hdd. He keeps you up-to-date with what he is doing ... i.e. when he recvs & ships. He does great work and I highly recommend using him rather than frying your box.

As most people I was very hesitant to send my PS2 out to some guy who advertised on the net. I read the boards and everyone said how great he was but I still was unsure. I took the chance and sent my chip and unit out. He emailed me as soon as he got it and as soon as he was finished. I had the unit back in less than a week. I powered up the unit and it did not work. I was not happy at all. I e-mailed them and they tried to trouble shoot my problem but could not. I sent my unit back and within a few days it was back working 100%. Trey was the most helpful person I have ever dealt with. He made sure my unit worked and that I was satisfied. Most people would say too bad and leave you hanging. Don't second guess his work, he does excellent work. Soldering his a tough job and things happen. I am recommending all my friends who want to get the PS2's moded to use Trey!!!!

This guy does great mods, I had him install a Magic 3.1 on my V7 and he did a great job, and in a very reasonable amount of time. I highly recomend him to anybody who wants a high quality mod job for a great price.

It seems I promised a 13-yr old that I would chip his brand-new PS2 for his birthday! I bought the DMS3 V9 and, based on the on-line pics, thought I could solder it up! Too damn small for my eyes!

I found out about chipinstalls.com on these forums, and at first I was apprehensive about sending my console out so far to someone I didn't know. There are alot of good modders in So Cal, but I liked what I heard about chipinstalls and figured I'd take the plunge, sending it to South Carolina.

I sent in my PS2 to have it modded it with a DMS3 v2 chip. First of all, my unit is a v4 PS2, not exactly the easiest console to mod with a DMS3, and the laser on it is weak to boot. Trey took my unit, kept me posted almost daily, and had it back to me in no time. He is quick, professional, and above all, a great guy to work with. I definately recommend him to anyone in the US looking for a dedicated modder who does a professional job. I myself will be going to him with any next generation consoles in the future, granted if he is still modding. If you have any doubts or questions about Trey and his work, feel free to message me.

Trey modded my PS2 with a Magic V. It works fantastic, and the pricing was very reasonable.

Placed order around midnight on 4/21/2004 for premod XBOX with the executor 2.3B lite chip setup. Received on 4/24/2004. It helps that I live in the stores region :)

Exellent packaging taking care to protect the mods swiches because they are external.
It came with the Samsung DVD-Rom double plus good from what I hear. I have used the following media with great success Ritek G04, ProDiscS03 DVD-R, Philips 48x CDR & Verbatim CDRW using a Pioneer A06 DVD+-RW drive.

Good communication I wish it had been more clear for both chipinstalls.com and teamexecutor.com ( on which rom file to flash with ) but maybe its that way for legal reasons.

I wasted several cds & dvds on trying to flash with the 4981.67_256k.bin rom which is for something else apparently I dunno. Anyway once I used the 4981.06_256k.bin rom with chipinstalls.com 2.3b lite setup everything went perfect. I ordered a DMS3 Playstation 2 premod on April 27th, and I received it on April 30th. That's quick service. It took me a little research to realize I needed to use the "fast boot" option of the DMS3 since I have an official Sony HDD, but everything is working great. Great quality, great service, great communicaiton during the transaction, and a great price... you can't do better than that. I would suggest anyone to give chipinstalls.com a try.

I needed a DMS3 install on my V4 playstation. Chipinstalls.com was able to quickly mod my console while I was on vacation in Edisto, SC, and shipped it back to my home. Sorry to say, I am having sort of a negative experience with chipinstalls. I ordered a refurbed DMS3 modded ps2, which on arrival worked once and no more after that. I sent it back to trey, and he deemed it operable, and sent it back. Unfortunately I had the same exact problem. After one more send-back, I decided to get a refund of the price I paid, $195.00. After a failed attempt to receive my money back (money order was supposedly lost in the mail) I did receive a PERSONAL CHECK, not the money order that I would have requested and would have been easier for me since I do not have a bank account, and it was for only $158.00, way short of the expected $195. This may be a small amount to you all, but this is money that I need for my rent. I hope Trey can rectify this soon, as he has not answered an email of mine for the past 2 weeks.

Wow, truely amazing! Talk about such great service. I myself have no idea on modding stuff, and no clue on how it works. I had one friend try for 3 weeks to get the chip installed, and he only had 5 wires on. I decided to get it done at ChipInstalls because I visited thier site before, asked them a question or two, and got a real person replying, with great answers. I decided to go with them, and I dont regret it at all. Although my laser in my PS2 was bad, he told me exactly what item I needed to get. The price is very good, and the service is wonderful. He always kept in touch with me, and always let me know what was going on with my console. He worked with me when I had my PS2 in pieces and did not know how to put it back together, I just shipped it with all of the pieces apart and he put it all back together.

Well, considering how nervous I was about sending my precious PS2 away to a stranger. I decided to try it myself. Well, after ruining one PS2. I decided to not even consider doing it again. So, I waited about a year till I finally decided to trust a chip installer.

I decided to look around and found chipinstalls. First of all, they seemed very nice, not like the others I contacted for information, and affordable prices. So, I decided to send it off to them.
