Bought 2 Xecuter 2.2pro's had a defective one, sent it back and got a reply on Oct 7 that a replacement would be sent out. No reply since.

Got reply from Mod Mart and they said are shipping replacement tommorow .

Do you have a order number, or a RMA number of some type, so I can get c2_nap to look it up? (I do not have access to the old royal system)

PS--Noticed price increase aswell on Magic3.1's, and they arent in stock...any time frame for stock??

The Magic 3.1 chips are still $17.95 *USD* (are in stock). The Magic V are $28.95 *USD*. (will be in stock tue/wed - I think..)

Ordered from them on 11/11 it is not 11/18. And my tracking number still doesn't bring up a package on the site even though the status says completed.

Yes thats correct! i just cleaned out mod-mart this week placed a order and got tracking within a few hours, shipping took 2 days and every chip flashed 100%, great service , great shop!

thats funny, i'm in canada and i paid for overnight shipping.. on jan 5th tracking was sent to me... now its Jan 7th and still nothing ... i thought overnight shipping is exactly that.. OVERNIGHT? how can it be 2 days later and tracking still shows it

BEWARE!!!! Mod-Mart ripped me off!!!

Here's the story: I ordered a premodded Xbox with an Xbit chip on 11/18/03. I received the Xbox on 12/02/03, but I was unable to flash the chip because the idiots forgot to break off the write-protect seal. Obviously, they hadn't tested the unit before they shipped it out.

Since I have many years of experience working on PC hardware, I decided to open the Xbox and break off the write-protect myself. I did so, and I was able to successfully format, flash, and verify the Xbit via the USB port. I then enabled the mod, set the dip-switches to the appropriate bank, and booted the Xbox. It FRAGged. I tried reflashing into several different banks with several different bios files, but every time I tried to boot, it still FRAGged.

Since the Xbox worked fine with the mod disabled, I decided to open the Xbox again and check the mod solder connections. Upon doing so, I discovered that the blue wire on d0 was poorly soldered, and the whole thing came loose when I carefully peeled the tape off.

So anyway, I contacted mod-mart for an RMA, and I sent the Xbox back to them on 12/20/03. (Insured First Class International mail, $30 out-of-pocket expense.) After a couple of weeks, I inquired to see if they had received it yet. On 1/10/04, I received a reply stating "Sorry for the delay. Yes we received it. What exactly is wrong with it again?" So once again, I explained the entire situation to them.

On 1/20/04, I received a message stating "Sorry, will work on it tomorrow and ship out tomorrow. Been real busy. Thanks." That was the last time I ever heard from them. I still have not received the Xbox, and they have not replied to my subsequent inquiries. I can no longer contact them via their website, since their helpdesk software is expired, and my direct emails have gone unanswered.

So anyway, that's where the situation stands now. I'm out $330 US, and I still don't have the Xbox premod I paid for over three months ago. Before typing this review, I filed a formal complaint with PayPal, and tomorrow I will contact my credit card company to have them reverse the charges. (Two weeks ago, I gave mod-mart warning that I would be doing this. No reply.)

Let this be a warning to everyone reading this: DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM MOD-MART!!!!!

I just tried to get a chip from mod-mart ... got to the payment, selected paypal, but paypal says that mod-mart didn't supply the right information. Somehow I get charged nothing ( says paypal ) and get two confirm e-mails from mod-mart. When I try to go to the help desk the link is broken, and there is nobody in the chat. Not even an e-mail address listed to send questions to. Any ideas? I'm hoping someone from mod-mart will read this message here.

Still haven't recieved any replies to any of my inquires. I expect to try and call and cancel my order tonight if I still haven't received any word back about my order. It's a shame, I have ordered from royal modchips, i mean mod-mart , before but this time everything is going wrong. I'll just have to order from another company.
