It's very refreshing to see a website that concentrates on the technical aspects rather than bombard you with pretty, unnecessary blurb and graphics.

January 5th, 2004: I Ordered a Bare xbox case, a controller to PC adapter, and an MCPX heatsink.

Update (January 12th): Apparently they were out of heatsinks so my ordered was delayed. Still hasn't shipped yet, but at least I know it will eventually.

Update (January 19th): 2 weeks have gone by, order still hasn't shipped. I emailed them, about it, here is their response:

Our heatsinks came on Friday, but too late to ship. Monday is a US post holiday. Martin Luther King day, so they are not open. Your order will be shipping Tuesday 1/20/04, I know this was a long time to wait so I will refund your shipping cost to you. You paid 17.55 for ship cost so that will be refunded back to you.... I will send it via paypal. Again, sorry about this delay. We are working on a process for backorders. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Although the order is taking forever, they were kind enough to give me free shipping (to canada no less) because of the delay. Not a bad deal in my book. I probably would order from them again in the future.

Update: (January 26th): 3 weeks have gone by, order isn't here yet. Sad. They did refund my shipping cost though, so that's something to be happy about, I guess. Hope order comes soon.

Llamma is a good site and is ran by a good guy. I orderd my premoded xbox mobo from him and everything was great. The hd was messed up from shipping but he sent me a new one. He is a Great guy to deal with.

I sent my Modded Xbox to these guys to have it repaired(bad power supply, xbox was powering down on its own after 10 minutes) and I had it back in a week and half and the xbox was working flawlessly. I would recommend these guys 100%, also recommend the guys at www.system-mods.com also.

Made two orders with them. Just look at the log history, it speaks for itself. Second order, Order #4859 was placed late Saturday Night and was shiped out today on a Monday. I'll definitly be ordering from them again and recomend them to anyone. You guys rule.

Ordered a 30 guage wire stripper from them, shipped out fast i have no complaints except for the 4 dollar overcharge on shipping. If it was packaged with peanuts and a special box and stuff i could understand the extra amount, but it was just thrown in a priority envelope. but its all good. next time i need some strippers or some parts i will buy from them again.

I just got my new chips from them. 3 other sites tried to charge me 3 times more than llama. They tried to charge me 3 times more than llama did for shipping and the other site said that I'd be here in 2-5 weeks. Llama charged a cheaper price for shipping and got it 2 days later. Charged me half the price of the other places and the mod chips work flawlessly. Even got tons of emails to make me feel safe about my order. He even had the shipping company send me an email to give me tracking info and to let me know that he actually sent it out and that it was now in their hands to get to me. Best experience ever. What is the brokering charge?

These guys rock. I had originally sent my XBOX to these guys to repair a damanged trace and complete a modchip install for me. Within 4 days I had my XBOX back to me in working condition, except one issue. It seems as though the damaged trace affected the ability to load an Xecuter Bios on my X3 chip. While I was waiting for an update on my order status, for the hell of it I decided to give them a ring on a Saturday night at 11pm EST and what do you know, they call me back in 10 minutes. I spoke to Jason and Scott over there and they hooked me up with a brand new motherboard, free X3 install and compensated me for my shipping to them. I now have a working X3 chip and brand new motherboard. I would definetely buy from these guys again, no questions asked.

I have done bussiness with llamma in the past, and have had no problems.
my brother just had arrived from south africa and needed some 220v power supplies for the xbox and was only staying a short time, so i 2nd day aired a bunch of shit from llamma.com, now i got 2 220v power supplies that where broken. and my brother left the day after we where testing them out, so i emailed llamma and explained the situation and they said i had to pay a 15$ restocking fee for each item.
i really do not give a shit about the 15$
its the princable here.
lets sell you some shitty product when we know you are in a bind and then when you can not use it cause it does not work we are going to charge you for it.

Awesome. Had a problem with my order (didn't receive the ATA166 cable I had ordered), but I contacted Llamma, and they shipped the missing item today by USPS Priority. Definitely recommended... love the way they handle problems.

ok my mb came in perfectly wrapped,nice and tucked under some foam and well protected.i'm very happy with the way they handle things,they even inform me of some errors about my order which i found weird,the site never ask me to pay for my item.but everything worked out fine.i'm surprised that they had the motherboards in stock because most other sites didn't have any. A++ rating and they will hear from me again.have a beer guys.

Tried to place an order with Llamma. Paid them with paypal. got conformation of order in minutes. 5 days passed and i get notification my order was canceled.

They returned my money in full, but wont take my order because im canadian paying with paypal. The only way to get around this is to use a credit card with paypal, or just use a credit card through them. Paypal has already taken a slice off the top for transfering canadian funds to american.

Now im out $20 with no stuff. Customer service line is a wrong number, and e-mail has been no help whatsoever. They got good stuff and good prices and everyone else seems to like them.

If your canadian with out a credit card, think about shopping somwhere else.

Placed a pretty simple order for some P/E buttons and 2 ATA 166 cables.

Got the wrong cables. They sent me the 4 device cables, which I have no use for.

Got a prompt reply, and they sent me a UPS shipping label. Got the correct cables pretty quickly. Good experience, will come back!

very good with customer service, but they take friday through monday afternoon off, so its hard to get ahold of them, but when you do it works well.

i made on order but then cancelled within the next few minutes, my money was taken out of my account, and i waited almost a week for it to be put back in, until i had to try and get ahold of them to ask them to refund the money.

i have another order i sent back for a refund because i didnt need it a few days before i recieved it, im positive they will give me a refund minus the re-stocking fee which im completely willing to pay.

all in all, i havnt tried their products, but they are a good small company. a little overpriced but... to each his own.
